Records are stored on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud and To My Dear can access it, your records are reflected across devices using your private iCloud and the same Apple ID.
If iCloud is not syncing
Check that your iPhone is signed in to iCloud and has a working network connection. Then open Settings in To My Dear and tap “Recheck Sync Status.” Changes may take time to appear.
Does the app send my records to someone?
No. To My Dear never automatically sends what you write to another person or third party. It does not support family sharing or posthumous sending.
Can I use this as a legal will?
No. To My Dear is not an app for creating legal wills, and anything recorded in it has no legal effect. For legal arrangements, consult a qualified lawyer, notary, or other professional in your jurisdiction.
How do I delete all data?
Open Settings from the gear icon at the top right of the Home screen, then select “Delete All Data.” Deleted records cannot be recovered.
System requirements
To My Dear supports iPhone devices running iOS 17 or later. The app is available in Japanese and English.
